Waiting for an Autism Assessment?

We’re here to help you while you’re waiting for your child to be assessed for a diagnosis of Autism.

Our friendly, supportive staff at any one of our First Steps for Autism Early Intervention Centres can meet with you to talk about your child, and give you advice on how to provide support during this time. Call one of our First Steps Advisors today on (08) 6380 5500. 

My Time Parent Support Groups

Our team run parent coffee groups across a number of locations. Join us for a chat, a cup of tea and some downtime – at no cost! Bring your children, or come alone! These groups welcome parents of children with a disability aged up to 16 years of age in a friendly, respectful and confidential atmosphere.

Parents attending often have much in common, and can talk openly about their children’s challenges and triumphs.

Lead by training Autism association staff, playgroups are available for children aged 6 and under during these groups – siblings are also welcome!!

Early Days Workshops

Run throughout the year, Early Days is a series of FREE workshops for parents, grandparents, and families of young children (0-6 years) on the Autism Spectrum or who are going through the assessment and diagnostic process for Autism Spectrum Disorder.

First Steps Playgroup
